The Introverted Filmmaker. |
It's all about films (Mine and others). |
Well it has been almost 2 weeks since I got back to college and I’m really enjoying it.
I already have a video assigment and I’m preparing for my future audio assignments and also have been testing the cinestyle picture profile on my new Canon T4i which I’m loving it.
I’ve been starting to listening a lot to Zwan which was the band Billy Corgan made after The Smashing Pumpkins broke up, and I have been wanting to start writing about The Pumpkins here so prepare to read some posts on the future about them.
I’m also a music lover, though I’m not the proper guy to write a post about music I decided to do a top 5 of what I think are the best and also my favourite albums of 2012.
5) Born To Die - Lana Del Rey

Here is a disc that gave me chills and found joy on those chills.
4) The 2nd Law - Muse

The triumphant return of Muse, the so criticized diversity of the album it’s what it makes it great, from the loudness old school rock of Supremacy to the electric Madness.
3) Blunderbuss - Jack White

The first solo album of Jack White might not be as “happy” as his work on The White Stripes but man it really surprise.
2) Electra Heart - Marina And The Diamonds

I listened to it because a friend talk me about it and wow I really have to thank the guy, the power of the lyrics itself makes the album worth listening to, all the tracks touched me in a form I thought it was not possible.
1) Oceania - The Smashing Pumpkins

The impressive and greater than glory return of Billy Corgan has the first spot, it not only has created one of the Pumpkins best albums since Mellon Collie but also it has made me to re-discover their old songs and that’s really something, all the songs in the record have the same value which is something that I don’t find on today albums, Corgan it’s back!
Can’t wait for this, Coldplay it’s one of my favorite bands of all time and Anton Corbijn is a great director, just check out all his music videos and “The American”.
Been listening to this the whole week, it’s so beautiful :,)
It kind of describes my life in this moment.
Where We Wanna Be, it’s a nature video shot and edited by me, the footage was taken during the process of this year, yes I love to play with my camera.
Song: Where We Wanna Be, by Joe Echo, performed by Ben Barnes.
Time to start mixing Del Toro!
Almost forgot. This week I’m doing something different (since I’m tired and lazy).
